ONE Program started follow-up safety program in the fall of 2021. This new initiative is designed to utilize pharmacy technicians to provide follow-up calls for ONE Program patients. This technician calls patients 3 days after they received an opioid prescription to provide additional education about proper disposal and ensure the opioid is being used safely.
For each follow-up call a technician completes, the pharmacy earns an additional $10 per screening.
